Windows
The Windows build is an early alpha and ships unsigned; SmartScreen may ask for confirmation on first run.
What you need for macOS
- macOS 13 Ventura or newer
- Apple silicon (M1 or later)
- Signed with a Developer ID certificate and notarized by Apple
- Updates install themselves, signed and verified
Installing on macOS
- 1Open the disk image
Double-click the Velora .dmg file in your Downloads folder.
- 2Drag Velora to Applications
In the custom installer window, drag the Velora icon onto the Applications folder.
- 3Launch and sign in
Open Velora from Applications and sign in with your Velora email and password.
- 4Grant only what you need
Accessibility and screen recording are asked for when a workflow first needs them, and can be revoked in System Settings at any time.
Coming from Velora 2.x? The 3.x rewrite cannot update in place and starts with its own data — install this build fresh and sign in; your account and Pro status carry over.
After you install
- Sign in with your account. The same email and password work on the website and in the app, and carry your plan with them.
- Free works without a card. Founding accounts keep an OG badge and can switch on two weeks of Pro whenever they want it.
- Bring your own models if you prefer. Ollama and local models are supported alongside hosted providers.
